HEX will be performing the part of the Vocal Concert for Oliver Leth's spectacular procession of music, movement, and sound GARLAND. It apparently include a live horse? Come check it out.

Abraham Opera Workshop
Synchromy is producing a workshop of a new opera I've been working on with my longtime collaborator Aaron Henne. This opera tells the biblical story of Abraham, Hagar, Sarah, and their children from both the Jewish and Islamic perspectives simultaneously. More info soon!

I’ve recently been commissioned to write a piece for Seattle Pro Musica and will be spending some time in the area doing residencies and guest presentations the week before the show.

I've been invited to sing in a quartet of voices as part of the LA premiere of Indra's Net, a new work by one of my musical heroes, the inimitable Meredith Monk. One night only!

Water Dreams and Air Songs
HEX will be featured on the LA Phil's green umbrella series performing a new piece (a mini opera?) by Pulitzer-prize winning composer Susie Ibarra. We'll also perform a few a cappella tunes, but Susie's piece is the main event. I am, of course, STOKED.
