Living Meditation Project: A Deep Listening Soundbath, Meditation and Dance
This one hour event is one-part deep listening soundbath, one-part contemporary dance performance, and one-part ecstatic meditation. This event is part of an on-going exploration of the intersection between creative and spiritual practices with composer/performer Fahad Siadat, dancer/choreographer André Megerdichian, and director/choreographer Jennifer Deckert.

An in concert presentation of this mono-drama / song cycle. "he Moon Has Made Us Brothers chronicles the struggles of the tragic clown figure Pierrot as he suffers through maturity and transformation. Reeling from social rejection, he tries to lose himself in melancholy, intoxication, religion, and violence, only to discover his true self at the end of the journey.

part of the on going exhibit at LACMA, I'll be presenting an evening of improvisation based pieces for electronically enhanced voice and specially tuned piano. These will combine the modes of Arabic classical music in conversation with Western inspired harmonies and forms. and will coincide with the fast-breaking meal after sunset during the month of Ramadan.

"The Mass" Album Release
Laude, the professional ensemble at FCCLA, has created an entire album of Patrick Cassidy's new masterwork "The Mass" exclusively using virtual choir methods. The end result is pretty spectacular and there are a number of events surrounding its release.
